The Thompson-Okanagan region is prized for its summertime weather and plethora of lakes to explore and many residents are out enjoying serene spaces on paddleboards, kayaks and canoes.
The lighter, smaller crafts are easier to transport than bigger boats and allow for a motor-free experience. Some outdoor enthusiasts are capturing views of lakes and surrounding natural spaces on their adventures.
The region is home to more than 200 lakes surrounded by natural beauty, according to Come Explore Canada.
