A man has been charged and released on conditions after seriously injuring someone at a restaurant in Penticton in December.
Shaun Richard Clauson, 49, has been charged with aggravated assault after the BC Prosecution Service approved the charge, according to a press release from police issued Wednesday, May 21.
Penticton RCMP were called to a restaurant in the 2400-block of Skaha Lake Road because of an alleged assault around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 22

. RCMP don't identify the business.
Clauson allegedly assaulted a 28-year-old man who was seriously injured, but the injuries were non-life-threatening.
Clauson has since been arrested and released on conditions. His next court appearance in Penticton is set for June 4.
RCMP said no more details will be released at this time.
